The Embryology Team
Every successful fertility journey has a team working quietly behind the scenes — and at Life Fertility Clinic Sydney, our embryology laboratory is where the science truly comes to life.
Our embryologists are among the most skilled and experienced in Australia. Working with precision, care, and the very latest reproductive technology, they play a vital role in every treatment cycle we perform — from fertilisation and embryo development through to freezing and storage.
Charlotte
Director of Embryology & Laboratory SciencesCharlotte, as our Scientific Director, heads up the Lab team.
With 30 years of experience as an embryologist and a PhD looking into sperm selection and quality, Charlotte believes in an individual approach to patient care. Charlotte’s favourite job in the lab is looking at sperm under our high-powered microscope.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending as much time as possible in the great outdoors.
Tickie
EmbryologistTickie loves the meticulous nature of embryology and using advanced lab technology. Being able to help patients achieve positive results is deeply rewarding to her.
Outside of work, Tickie’s hobbies include hiking, cycling and running. She also enjoys travelling to different countries to experience diverse cultures.
Daisy
EmbryologistDaisy has worked as an Embryologist for over 17 years. She is currently undertaking her PhD researching improved sperm preservation techniques.
Daisy enjoys taking on challenging cases because a successful outcome is always incredibly rewarding. When she's not in the lab, Daisy enjoys baking, travelling, and trying out new restaurants.
She is always on the lookout for a great matcha latte.
Po
EmbryologistPo has been an Embryologist for 12 years, working in Hong Kong and London before settling in Sydney (and completing her Master’s). She enjoys being part of all our patients’ IVF journeys.
The greatest fulfilment for Po is seeing patients achieve a positive outcome. Outside of work, Po would love to travel the world and eat at every restaurant in Sydney, but is a busy mum of very young twins—constantly on the go, running on snacks, and turning “chaos” into “cute” (most of the time!).
Nicola
EmbryologistNicola has recently returned to Sydney after having spent a number of years working as an Embryologist in London.
She has a keen interest in developing and providing lab-based patient education and is passionate about ensuring that every patient receives the highest possible level of care and support.
Outside of the lab, you can often find Nicola keeping active, enjoying nature or planning her next holiday!
